Give desk pet adoption day a place in your classroom story. These desk pet adoption certificates turn welcoming a pretend classroom companion into a moment students can enjoy together.
There’s plenty of room for personality when everyone introduces a new desk pet. Invite students to dream up names, share what makes their companion special or imagine the adventures it might have during the school day. An adoption celebration offers a starting point for those stories, whether you’re introducing desk pets to your class or welcoming a new group of students.
Make the experience your own with introductions, a class photo or an adoption-day conversation about caring for a make-believe companion. Choose the activities that fit your classroom and invite everyone to contribute.
Keep the completed certificates with classroom memories or send them home to share the story with families. They become a keepsake from a classroom tradition each student helped create.
